Inclusion in the iGuides directory means that your submissions have received the iGuides "stamp of approval" and can be trusted to be high quality and spam-free.

Submission Fees & Regulations

All website submissions are subject to an annual submission charge. There will be no further annual charges to subscribers. Submission charges vary depending on the type of submission undertaken. Our subscriber fees allow us to promote and maintain iGuides and ensure that we can continue to maintain the integrity of our unique, human edited and reviewed content management system.

Please allow up to 72 hours after making your submission for a response from an iGuides reviewer. If iGuides declines to accept your submission, you will not be charged for your submission. iGuides’ editors periodically review earlier submissions. Should we find that your website or any linked articles, websites or other content outside of our control has been altered in such a way as to fall outside of our submissions and site usage guidelines, we reserve the right to remove your site from iGuides without refund. Before we do so, we will issue you with one warning and allow you the opportunity to respond. Please read our Submission Guidelines carefully before making your submission. They state clearly what is and is not appropriate for inclusion in the iGuides directory.

Please understand that while iGuides aggressively promotes our website and its content, we do not guarantee a definite placement on search engines.

Site Usage

All sites that you submit must be in English. iGuides is specifically designed and managed to promote high quality, information rich internet content. Sites we deem to have been designed and written primarily for advertising purposes will not be accepted. Before making your submission, carefully review our categories and submit your site to the most appropriate category for your content. We reserve the right to remove, delete or edit any material submitted to an inappropriate category.

Submissions that will automatically be rejected by iGuides include the following:

1. Sites that are primarily affiliate sites. While you may have affiliate links on your site, if we deem a site to be primarily an affiliate marketing tool, we will refuse it at our discretion
2. Your site must not contain broken links or links to sites that do not adhere to iGuides’ submission standards. Any site that automatically redirects users to another site will be rejected or removed
3. "Under Construction" sites will not be accepted. Your site must be complete. Of course, you may alter your site after submission, but be aware that we reserve the right to remove your site from the iGuides directory if your alterations fall outside the parameters of our guidelines. We will notify you of our intention before we remove you site and give you the opportunity to make appropriate corrections.
4. iGuides is dedicated to providing our users with a high-quality, spam free browsing experience. We reserve the right to decline any site submission we deem to fall short of our submissions standards. While you are welcome to question our decision, it remains our right to decline your submission at our sole discretion
5. iGuides will accept no gambling or adult sites of any nature. There are no exceptions to this rule

Copyright rules

iGuides strongly disapproves of plagiarism and the flooding of the internet with duplicate content. Our iGuides reviewers use Copyscape and other means to check for duplicate and plagiarized content. While we understand that your original material may be reproduced elsewhere on the internet, if we believe you have used automatic submissions software or "black hat" techniques to promote your site, we will not accept your site for inclusion in the iGuides directory. We consider mirror sites to be inappropriate duplicate content. Mirror sites are thus subject to rejection or removal by iGuides.

Duplicate and plagiarized content includes any logos, designs, artwork, photographs, videos or any other artistic content that has been used on your site without the consent of its creator.

All intellectual property rights must be respected and intellectual property laws strictly adhered to. Any submission found to violate copyright and intellectual rights laws will automatically be deleted from our directory.

Accountability Statement

iGuides.org is not responsible for the contents of any material submitted to our website. While we make every effort to ensure that all material submitted to iGuides adheres to our strict quality standards, we assume no authority or responsibility for the accuracy or usefulness of information offered by contributors to iGuides nor do we guarantee the quality or usefulness of products advertised on iGuides or within the contents of material submitted to us.

iGuides assumes responsibility only for iGuides copyrighted content approved by iGuides and published on our website. This does not include responsibility for any material whatsoever that has been submitted to iGuides for inclusion in our directory.
